Please follow this procedure to activate the feature (one time only)

Home > Utility > User Settings > System Settings > Select Separate Scan from Platen > Select to YES

Now that the function is activated do this for each scan from the platen glass:

Place first original on the glass > select your email address > press START > repeat this process for second and subsequent pages following the onscreen prompts.  When all pages are scanned press FINISH.
